Having grown up in Johannesburg, South Africa, I left at age 18 and moved to the UK where I spent 5 and a half years serving in the British Military. After many different global postings and an operational tour to Iraq, I left in 2009 and began studying financial advice with the IFS school of finance in London. I was recruited by deVere in 2010 and moved back to Johannesburg to work for deVere & Partners (now deVere Investments South Africa). At the end of 2010 I decided to move to Zimbabwe to help build the office in Harare, I am confident to say that our Zimbabwean office has grown to one of the top producing offices in Africa since. I am an associate of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investments (cisi.org) and a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (cii.co.uk). I recently took over as the head of sub saharan Africa for deVere Group (www.devere-group.com), the world’s largest financial advisory group.
